Hello, my name is Jessica Butterer
I’m a family, portrait, and headshot photographer in sunny Tampa! I believe the best images come from real human connection. By creating a space where you feel comfortable and seen, I capture genuine expressions and authentic moments—whether it’s the joy of family, the uniqueness of your individuality, or the confidence in a professional headshot. Every session tells your story, honestly and beautifully.
I am a mom to two wonderful boys, a wife, an artist, a theatre lover, avid learner, and an adventurer who loves to be outdoors. I look forward to hearing what magic moments I can capture for you.
My approach
I believe the best photographs are created through real human connection. When you feel comfortable, seen, and celebrated, your truest self naturally shines through. My approach is not about stiff poses or forced smiles—it’s about creating a space where you can relax, be yourself, and enjoy the experience of being photographed. That is when the most authentic and timeless images are made.
For families, I focus on capturing the joy of togetherness. The playful laughter, the little hugs, the messy, real moments that show the love you share. I know that family sessions can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially with little ones, so I approach them with patience and flexibility. My goal is to make it fun, lighthearted, and stress-free, so you can focus on each other while I preserve those fleeting connections you’ll want to remember for years.
In portraits, I strive to highlight individuality. Whether you’re looking for something creative, personal, or professional, I want the images to reflect you—not a posed version, but the real essence of your personality. Every person has a unique story, and my role is to translate that into photographs that feel honest, empowering, and true to who you are.
